Supervision approach: My approach to supervision is shaped by my own professional journey - from student to clinician, and later to researcher and academic. I understand firsthand the challenges and transitions involved in each stage, and I bring this perspective into my supervisory practice. I see supervision as a collaborative and evolving learning experience, where I work alongside students to identify their goals, establish a structured plan, and support their growth through timely and constructive feedback.
I aim to foster a supportive, respectful, and reflective environment where students feel comfortable seeking guidance and confident to explore their ideas. I recognise that each supervisory relationship is unique, and I approach it as a reciprocal learning experience - where both the supervisor and supervisee bring valuable perspectives and expertise. This mutual exchange fosters growth, encourages critical thinking, and promotes the ongoing development of both parties throughout the research journey.
