Dr Angela Martin

Dr. Angela Martin, PhD, FACPara, is an accomplished clinical leader, educator, consultant, and strategist with thirty years of expertise in paramedicine, nursing, integrated care, clinical governance, system redesign, and health research. Angela's PhD titled 'Perspectives on Community Paramedicine Through Multiple Stakeholder Lenses: An Exploratory Study' presents findings from a series of interlinked publications with the shared objective of gaining a better understanding of the experiences and perspectives of stakeholders engaged in Community Paramedicine (CP) programs. A phenomenological approach was undertaken using a variety of qualitative methodologies, which included ethnography and soft systems methodology.  Angela has held leadership and educational roles within Australian jurisdictional ambulance services, including SA Ambulance Service, Kimberley Ambulance Service, and Ambulance Tasmania. Driven by her passion for improving rural health outcomes, she has pioneered integrated service delivery models, enhanced clinical systems, and advanced community paramedicine initiatives across Australia.
