The College supports the future of paramedicine by providing research related opportunities to foster and build the research capacity of the profession and disseminate evidence-based knowledge to inform policy and practitioners.
In this program, participants receive practical, hands-on training in manuscript review, supported by an experienced mentor. You will complete a series of online courses through the Web of Science Academy before progressing to co-reviewing published papers and live submissions alongside your mentor and the Journal’s editors.
This program is suitable for people in any role who are new to peer review, as well as those already reviewing who wish to reflect on their practice and further develop their reviewing skills.
To support paramedicine researchers, the College is developing an international registry: a comprehensive, user-friendly directory designed to connect paramedicine researchers, promote collaboration and build the profession’s research capacity.

The Australasian Paramedicine Workforce Survey is a high-impact three-year study commissioned by the Australasian College of Paramedicine which explores the demographic, career trajectory, work motivations and conditions for those working in clinical, management and educational capacities within the paramedicine workforce, including student paramedics. Rounds one and two have now been completed, with round three to commence at the end of 2025.
The study is conducted in a partnership with Western Sydney University (WSU), Edith Cowan University (ECU) and Auckland University of Technology (AUT).
