Virtual Immigration Event January 23, 2025 – Paramedics (Australia and New Zealand)
With a diverse population living in over 400,000 square kilometers, there’s no such thing as a routine day for paramedics working in Newfoundland and Labrador, the easternmost point in Canada. If you are looking for a unique international opportunity to develop clinical practice as paramedics, our province is actively looking to hire experienced and newly qualified paramedics to fill our significant labour gap.
As first-line responders, you can play a leading role in providing pre-hospital care in our fully public service. All ambulance programs across Newfoundland and Labrador are now operated by NL Health Services (NLHS), the integrated provincial health authority. With the standardization of service delivery, and a new Provincial Medical Communications Centre, paramedics deliver progressive critical care in an evolving publicly funded health care system.
Interested students and paramedics can join our free Virtual Event on Thursday, January 23, 2025 to learn more about this exciting career path. Information on licensing and practice requirements will be available on the platform. Provincial immigration officers will be available to live chat with attendees between 9:00am-4:00pm Newfoundland Standard Time (NST) on January 23, 2025. Come hear about our immigration pathways and the natural beauty of our province with its stunning coastlines and temperate climate.
If unable to attend the live event, please register and upload your updated resume for employers to review. Presentations will be recorded and can be viewed anytime on our virtual platform.
