COVID-19 Immunisation Staff Recruitment - Victoria


Are you interested in working as a COVID Vaccinator and COVID Vaccination Clinic Support Staff for both Metro and Regional Victoria?

DHHS Victoria are looking for a range of clinical staff including; Registered Nurses, Nurse Immunisers, Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurses, Pharmacist Immuniser, Paramedics and Doctors, Medical Students, Nursing Students, Paramedicine Students and Allied Health Students to be involved in the COVID Vaccination Program.

  • Long term placements are available.
  • Staff interested in deployment to regional areas will be offered accommodation packages.
  • Must have current Police Check and WWCC

IMPORTANT DATES

Training
An online course will be available in February 2021, clinical staff who meet the criteria to vaccinate will be required to complete the training. It is ‘Covid-19 Specific’ training and will cover administering the Covid-19 vaccine and monitoring people post vaccination. Vaccination Clinic support staff will also be required to undertake Covid-19 vaccine specific training.

Working
The anticipated start date is from 15 February 2021 Peak vaccination period being 15 March – August 2021.
