About the Role:

We are looking for casual Critical Care Paramedics who will deliver medical services to a high-profile client in the Gold Coast region. This position is supported by a multi-disciplinary team including Registered Nurses and Registered Paramedics. Work is offered a casual basis around your availability and projected 1 – 2 months in advance. Reporting to our Operations Manager, Queensland, you will be working amongst a respected team of health care professionals, to keep the patrons, staff and guests safe.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Paramedicine Qualification (or Dual Registered Nurse/ Paramedic– Diploma or Degree)
  • Unrestricted registration as a Registered Paramedic with AHPRA
  • Graduate Certificate or Diploma in Critical Care
  • Minimum 24 months experience in a Critical Care or Intensive Care Paramedic role

Our industry leading clinical governance is overseen by our Medical Director and Clinical Manager. We hold relevant government approvals to operate and possess and administer medicines in line with our clinical guidelines and drug therapy protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing health services to patients within clinical scope
  • Ensuring patient care recording and incident reporting is completed within allocated timeframes
  • Following directions of 1300MEDICS supervisory and management team
  • Completing in a timely manner all reporting required by the client
  • Supporting our client with other health and safety related tasks such as first aid kit restocking and supporting workplace injury processes
