Paramedic students - Himalaya Community Health Challenge

Challenges Abroad are currently inviting paramedic students to join their Himalaya Health Promotion Challenge, to be held in Palampur, Northern India, from 10 - 24 January 2026.

During this experience, participants may have the chance to:

  • Use their skills in pop-up clinics, supporting community members with limited access to healthcare
  • Tour local hospitals and clinics (both public and private) to gain insight into health systems vastly different from Australia’s
  • Visit a local nursing school to exchange knowledge and experiences with students just like them.
  • Deliver life-saving CPR, First Aid, and health workshops in communities without emergency response infrastructure
  • And of course, meet like-minded paramedicine and nursing students while exploring a side of India few get to experience!

Registrations close 14 November. Use‘TYS250’ to get a $250 discount when registering.

This is a great opportunity to make a real impact while gaining global health experience.
