Experienced Intensive Care Paramedic Salary: $94,483 - 105,505.00 - ICP 3.1-3.5 (Part Time | Full Time / Ongoing)

Are you an Experienced Paramedic or an Experienced Intensive Care Paramedic (ICP) looking for an opportunity where you can make a positive difference in the South Australian community?

SA Ambulance Service (SAAS) is expanding its crewing across both metropolitan and country operations creating an exciting opportunity for potential applicants.

As a Paramedic or Experienced ICP with SAAS, you will provide a high standard of patient care to the SA community and deliver 'Patient First' pre-hospital care within the SAAS Scope of Practice.

With the capacity to work effectively in response to work demands, you will possess excellent decision-making skills and the ability to make sound judgements and problem solve in high pressure situations. You will use your sound written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with a broad cross-section of the community.

Experienced Paramedics and Experienced ICPs may be required to work across South Australia in paid roles in a range of metropolitan and country locations.

SAAS is interested to hear from eligible experienced Paramedics and Experienced ICPs who are looking to return home to South Australia after working interstate or overseas or those who are looking to relocate to South Australia.

To be eligible to apply for Experienced Paramedic and or Experienced ICP positions within SAAS, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Be a permanent resident or Citizen of Australia or New Zealand or hold full rights to work in Australia (no sponsorship will be provided by SAAS)
• Must be registered with AHPRA in the Paramedicine profession
• Have successfully completed a Paramedic Internship or equivalent work history
• Have experience as a practicing Paramedic relevant to the role
• Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance (Unsupervised Contact with Vulnerable Groups) and South Australian Working with Children Check
• Hold a current unrestricted Driver's Licence valid in South Australia (license must meet SA driving requirements - i.e., class C)

As part of the selection process, applicants must meet the required Pre-Employment Medical and Functional Assessment activities and assessments, and immunisation requirements ensuring compliance with SA Health Care Worker Immunisation and Screening Requirements.
