Job opportunity: Ambulance Transport Attendants - Victoria - NPT


National Patient Transport (NPT is seeking applications for casual Ambulance Attendants for the following areas:

  • Melbourne Metro
  • Hume Region servicing Wangaratta, Benalla and Wodonga
  • Goulburn Region servicing Shepparton, Kilmore & Seymour
  • Mildura
  • Swan Hill (permanent full time or part time position available)

If you are an Ahpra registered RN1 or Paramedic or hold the Diploma of Paramedicine, please apply completing all aspects of the application paperwork (successful completion of the paperwork forms part of the selection criteria).

Responsibilities:

  • Primary care, monitoring and treatment of patients during transport;
  • Provision of clinical handovers for all inter-hospital and diagnostic related transfers;
  • Performing, as part of a team, to deliver high quality care and treatment in a timely, safe and efficient manner;
  • Complying with patient care related clinical and operational policies and procedures as specified in the patient transport regulations and Clinical Practice Protocols;
  • Safe driving of patient transport vehicles in accordance with respective road laws across Victoria.
