ACPIC23 – Inspiring paramedics to create change where needed

The Australasian College of Paramedicine International Conference (ACPIC23) will see a gathering of paramedic professionals from Australasia and beyond. To be held in Melbourne from 13 – 15 September, ACPIC23 has been structured to impart the latest advancements, research, and best practices in the field of paramedicine.

The three-day program will focus on the conference theme of Lead – Evolve – Impact, delivering engaging and practical content to inspire paramedics to create change where it’s needed. With over 80 presenters in attendance, the program covers a wide range of topics including paediatrics to palliative care, wilderness medicine to the cutting-edge technology of modern stroke management and the all-important discussion around paramedic roles in advanced practice. We are thrilled to have Dr Tegwyn McManamny as our Master of Ceremonies along with keynote presenters James Yates and Rob Fenwick from TheResusRoom.

ACPIC23 is also a chance for us to celebrate 50 years of the College, and our Gala Dinner will include special presentations to mark this occasion, as well as awards and presentations to celebrate paramedic achievements. Special guest speaker Samuel Johnson OAM is ready to engage with dinner guests, speaking to his experience with paramedics, his fundraising journey for cancer, along with some show business tales. Samuel’s charity, Love Your Sister, which he co-founded in 2012, are our sponsors for the Gala Dinner, and there will be opportunities to support them on the night.

ACPIC23 could not be delivered without our supporters. We extend out thanks to event partner ZOLL, event sponsors, Charles Sturt University, Edith Cowan University, Emergency Services Health, Guild Insurance, and Laerdal. Monash University will also be joining us as Coffee Cart sponsor, as well as a range of trade exhibitors who will showcase their latest equipment and information in the paramedic field.

Tickets (face-to-face) for ACPIC23 will be available until midnight Sunday 10 September 2023. Online tickets will be available for the duration of the event.
