Are you an early career leader? Have you noticed leadership requires a different skillset to the frontlines? Navigating difficult conversations, facilitating change, providing feedback, coaching, negotiating... These are not abstract concepts but skills that can be learned. Master these skills (and more) with the College's Adaptive Leadership Program.
The College’s Adaptive Leadership Program is designed for both new and experienced leaders alike, emphasising leadership as a skill to be developed and applied, rather than an inherent trait or position title.
This six-month program combines face-to-face and online modules, covering core topics for all leaders including diversity and inclusion, feedback, negotiation, coaching, and resilience and wellbeing. Complementing the core modules is a series of live online sessions with current leaders in paramedicine, curated reading materials and an optional one-on-one coaching package (incurs an additional fee).
Duration: 6 months / 37 hours
Cohort size: 16-20 participants
Commencing: March 2025 / Melbourne

"The course was phenomenal. It blew me away. I couldn’t stop talking about it. I couldn’t stop sharing what I’d learned with my peers and my managers. It was just like nothing I’d ever sat in before... the way it was run, the way we learnt, the way we got to interact with people from different states, different backgrounds... I think I would encourage anyone to do this course, regardless of where they come from, or what background in ambulance they’re in. I think [they’ll] get so much out of it. I certainly did." -Catherine Wentworth
