Simone Haigh inducted into the Tasmanian Honour Roll of Women

The College congratulates Simone Haigh ASM FACPara on her induction on International Women’s Day into the Tasmanian Honour Roll of Women.

Simone, College Board Vice Chair and Director, is a Clinical Support Officer with Ambulance Tasmania, President of the Ambulance Executive Sub Branch for the Health and Community Services Union, a Member of the HACSU Branch Committee of Management, and Councillor on Kentish Council. Her tireless advocacy for paramedic and first responder mental health has resulted in a Senate Inquiry, Commonwealth and State legislative reform and seen her awarded the Ambulance Service Medal.

Simone's well-deserved induction into the Tasmanian Honour Roll of Women reflects her unwavering commitment to the profession and its development, and her vital role as a change-maker.
