Research Opportunity: The prevalence of resilience, psychological well-being, and mental illness in emergency responders

Join the Breakthrough: Empowering Emergency Responders Study!

Are you an unsung hero in the emergency response community? We invite Australian paramedics, SES workers, and mining rescuers over the age of 18 to be part of a pioneering scientific research project aimed at enhancing mental health and well-being in our invaluable emergency responders.

Our study focuses on understanding the prevalence of anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress, insomnia, resilience, and psychological well-being among emergency responders. By participating, you contribute to ground-breaking insights that can shape interventions to treat and prevent mental health challenges.

Your involvement is vital in helping us reach our target sample size of 1000 respondents. All participation is voluntary, with the assurance of confidentiality, and ethical approval from the Griffith Human Research Ethics Committee ensures the integrity of the study.
