Perceptions and attitudes of paramedics about older people’s self-determination with reduced decision-making capacity

This study is part of a research project that aims to investigate paramedic's perceptions about ethical problems related to the patient's self-determination when the patient has reduced decision making capacity. The research is being carried out in order to create a knowledge base for educational intervention with the aim of promoting the ethical competence of paramedics.

The research team is inviting Members and Fellows of the Australasian College of Paramedicine who are registered paramedics in Australia and New Zealand to participate in this research study.
