This research project aims to explore the acceptability of the ‘Person-centred consultation framework for paramedics attending non-acute presentations’, by gathering feedback from potential end-users.
This framework aims to guide all paramedics, and particularly those transitioning into extended, advanced practice and Community Paramedic roles, to conduct a holistic biopsychosocial assessment with patients who have non-emergency needs. Early feedback from stakeholders is being sought to further refine and validate this framework.
Participants are invited to complete a voluntary, anonymous online survey, which is expected to take approximately 10-15 minutes.
For participation information please click here or scan the QR code below to access the survey.
The research is being conducted by a collaboration between Dr Robbie King (Australian Catholic University), A/Prof Nigel Barr (University of the Sunshine Coast) and Dr Angela Martin (Edith Cowan University). For further enquiries, please email the research team at Robbie.king@acu.edu.au
Please note: All research opportunities promoted by the College are approved by our Research Committee. For any questions or comments relating to content, please contact the researchers directly. Support services are also available to paramedics who have participated in research opportunities. A list of these can be found on our website here.
