Share your experience of being a dual-qualified nurse paramedic working for an Australian ambulance service

Who?

We’re looking to recruit dual qualified nurse paramedics who meet the following criteria:

  • Currently registered as a nurse and a paramedic with AHPRA
  • Have worked full time as both a registered nurse in the emergency department and as a paramedic for an Australian ambulance service
  • Have a minimum two years’ experience in each field (this can be concurrent experience)
  • Be currently employed clinically as a registered nurse in the emergency department and/or as a paramedic for an Australian ambulance service

What and where?

Participate in a recorded one on one interview that will take place online via Zoom and at a time convenient to you. It is anticipated the interview will take one hour.

Why?

This study will form part of a PhD research project conducted by Caitlin Fitzgibbon (supervised by Dr Liz Thyer from Western Sydney University, Dr Georgia Clarkson from Australian Catholic University and Prof Martin Christensen from University Sunshine Coast).

Anything else?

Participation is entirely voluntary, and you are not obliged to be involved. If you do participate you can withdraw at any time up until the end of the interview without giving reason.

Your privacy will be strictly protected. Results will be de-identified, and no identifiers will be used in any publications.
