You are invited to participate in a qualitative landscape study on digital health in paramedicine. In collaboration with the Australian Digital Health Agency, the Australasian College of Paramedicine is working to understand how the paramedicine profession currently uses digital health, and what opportunities there are to improve usage for the purpose of improving health outcomes for all Australians.
The Chief Investigator leading the project is Dr Cameron Gosling (Monash University), who is supported by the Australasian College of Paramedicine.
Primary Aim This study aims to explore paramedics’ experiences with digital health, such as video consultations, wearable devices and online training. The aim of this research is to identify barriers, facilitators and areas for digital health development within paramedic practice.
Participation Your participation in this study will include:
Time Commitment One-off commitment of between 60 to 90 minutes, scheduled at a time convenient to the participant.
Target/Eligible Participants We are seeking AHPRA registered paramedics who are currently OR previously employed in Australia in all roles including clinical practice, education, research, policy or organisational management.
Payment A $50 voucher will be provided to all participants who complete the focus group interview as compensation for their time.
