Have your say: Non-surgical cosmetic procedures

The College welcomes the opportunity to provide a submission to the Ahpra consultation: Regulation of health practitioners who perform and who advertise non-surgical cosmetic procedures, and we are inviting Australian paramedics to share your suggestions, insights and views.

Our aim is to prepare a response to draft guidelines:

  • Guidelines for registered health practitioners who perform non-surgical cosmetic procedures (shared practice guidelines – applies to registered health practitioners excluding medical practitioners and nurses) and
  • Guidelines for registered health practitioners who advertise non-surgical cosmetic procedures (advertising guidelines – applies to all registered health practitioners),

Through this survey we aim to prepare a submission that echoes the collective voice of our members, and the wider paramedic profession and your views may be used anonymously in our submission.

The Ahpra consultation: Regulation of health practitioners who perform and who advertise non-surgical cosmetic procedures is a public consultation, and we encourage you to also submit your own individual responses should you choose to do so.

The Ahpra consultation page can be accessed here.

The Consultation paper can be accessed here.
