College Governance Training Program 2026


The College is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the College’s 2026 Governance Training Program. This initiative aims to assist members in bridging the gap to becoming directors and enhancing their governance and director skills.

The program will take a case based learning approach, discussing key governance concepts of being a director, such as strategy, risk and financial performance.


The Program timeline is as follows:


  • November 2025 – Nomination and selection process
  • Wednesday 28th January – Program Induction – 4-6pm AEDT online
  • Thursday 12th February – In-person governance training and strategy workshop in Sydney
  • Wednesday 4th March – 4-6pm AEDT online
  • Wednesday 25th March – 4-6pm AEDT online
  • Wednesday 22nd April – 4-6pm AEST online
  • Wednesday 13th May – 4-6pm AEST online

The in-person meeting on Thursday 12th February (with travel costs supported) will coincide with a governance training day and include strategic discussions with the College Board. Anyone submitting an EOI must be available to attend this meeting. 


Please note that only College members with two years of continuous membership at the time of applying are eligible to participate in the program.


EOIs are open until COB, Wednesday 19th November 2025.
