The Australasian Paramedicine Workforce Survey is a high-impact, three-year study commissioned by the Australasian College of Paramedicine (the College) which explores the demographic, career trajectory, work motivations and conditions for those working in clinical, management and educational capacities within the paramedicine workforce, including student paramedics.
We invite you to use your voice in round two of this powerful tool for change. The survey findings reveal insights into the current and future state of the paramedicine workforce across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand and provide governments and decision-makers with crucial knowledge and evidence to better inform workforce planning.
The more paramedics and paramedic students who complete the survey, the better placed we are to advocate for changes to ensure a better future. Information gained has far-reaching implications for how governments and decision-makers plan and deliver healthcare services, and ultimately, improve person-centred care.
Why should you complete the survey?
Your voice will provide the data required to affect change across health policy, inform future workforce planning and more broadly, engage paramedics in multidisciplinary team-based care. The information and knowledge gained in the study enables the College to advocate for initiatives and models that provide more opportunities for paramedics, innovative models of practice and improved health outcomes for communities across Australasia.
The study is conducted in a partnership with Western Sydney University (WSU), Edith Cowan University (ECU) and Auckland University of Technology (AUT).
The survey takes about 30 minutes to complete, so grab yourself a drink and a snack, take a break, answer the questions, and help ensure that governments and policymakers see you as visible, valued, and respected.
As a bonus, completed surveys are entered into a draw to win one of two Garmin watches.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to affect change in paramedicine. Take the survey today.
