Acknowledging the Contribution of Kylie Woolcock

The PHC Alliance thanks Kylie Woolcock, former CEO of the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association, for her contribution as Chair of the PHC Alliance over the past nine months.

Over the last two years, the PHC Alliance has brought together over 130 health care leaders from across Australia through two national PHC Congress events. These events reflected the collaborative efforts of health professionals from the medical, nursing, allied health, and academic sectors, coming together to shape a shared vision for reform.

At the first Congress, participants identified key reform priorities for government consideration, including funding, workforce training, digital health, and data and research. Building on these foundations, the second Congress focused on enabling multidisciplinary team-based care and identifying areas for collective action.

The PHC Alliance appreciates Kylie’s support during this formative period and thanks her for contributing to the Alliance’s work. We now look ahead to appointing a new Chair to help continue advancing our shared vision of system-wide reform to transform the primary health care system to a model of multidisciplinary primary health care.

The Australasian College of Paramedicine is a proud member of the PHC Alliance.
