Have your say: Tas Govt 20-year Preventative Health Strategy

The Tasmanian Government is currently developing the 20-Year Preventive Health Strategy to ensure every Tasmanian deserves to live their best lives – healthy, happy, and ready to take on life’s best moments.

This strategy is about more than just healthcare – it’s about creating environments that make the healthy choice the easy choice and support people to live well from the start.

Why does this matter? Because good health isn’t just about feeling ‘not sick’, it’s about feeling strong, happy, and able to do the things that matter.

If you are interested in getting involved, the Tasmanian Department of Health is holding regional forums. Register your interest here.

For members wanting to provide their perspective to support the College submission, please fill out this short survey which addresses the issues relating to health equity, government funding, laws and regualtions, interprofessional collaborations and partnerships.

College survey will close May 10 2025 to allow time to prepare our submission.
