The Paramedicine Board of Australia (ParaBA) is conducting a public consultation as part of its proposal to regulate advanced practice paramedics.
Australian Health Ministers have indicated their interest in the ParaBA establishing regulation for advanced practice paramedics and enabling independent prescribing outside of ambulance services. The ParaBA has progressed a piece of work to explore the role of advanced practice paramedics in Australia.
The Australasian College of Paramedicine (the College) is inviting members to share your perspective on the proposal via this survey. As the peak body representing and supporting paramedics across Australasia, responses will be used to inform the College's submission. Feedback captured in this survey may be used by the College anonymously.
The College will close this survey 1 June 2025 in time to prepare our submission for the consultation deadline (20 June).
