St John WA have an exciting new opportunity for a Deputy Director, Paramedicine to join our Emergency Stream on a 2 Year Fixed-Term Full-Time basis. You’ll be part of a highly skilled, committed and collaborative team that together provide crucial and highly valued services to the rest of the organisation.
The Deputy Director Paramedicine role is a newly created position that will operate as a paramedic equivalent to a Deputy Medical Director. This senior clinical leadership role will work alongside and in collaboration with the Medical Director to provide contemporary frontline consultancy and leadership shaping the future of paramedicine within the organisation, as well as providing advice to the Group Chief Executive Officer, Chief Emergency Officer and St John WA executive team on contemporary and innovative solutions to help promote a cohesive clinical direction and improve clinical performance across the organisation.
The Deputy Director, Paramedicine will serve as a proxy for the Medical Director where required and deemed appropriate.
The Deputy Director, Paramedicine will maintain frontline clinical competency with a minimum of 0.25 clinical operational responsibility.
