Fortem Australia's virtual summit Beyond Duty

Fortem Australia is providing a unique opportunity for all members of the first responder community to come together during this challenging time.

Beyond Duty – what is the bigger picture in first responder wellbeing?’ is an online summit that will be held over three sessions on Thursday 2 September. The program is structured in a way that you will be able to juggle your other responsibilities and still take part. You can register for one session or all three.

Fortem Australia's hope is that this experience will enrich the current work and life experience of leaders, staff, volunteers, families, and communities connected to first responder agencies, and importantly inspire the work we all need to progress for the future.

‘Beyond Duty’ aims to canvass research and lived experience from industry leaders, the first responder community, and health professionals, who will explore a ‘whole of person’ approach to mental health and fitness – during and post service. The aim is to shine a light on the importance of the social, cultural, and structural systems around individual workers in supporting their mental wellbeing throughout all stages of their career and life.

This will be a key day of personal and community development and we are inviting you to take part and share this opportunity with your own network.

Explore the dynamic speakers program and register now.
