Member: Registered paramedics, currently registered with Ahpra or Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council, regardless of employment status.

Associate: Individuals working in the field of paramedicine or healthcare. This may include roles such as medics/EMTs, non-emergency patient transport and call centre consultants. Other healthcare professionals also eligible for Associate membership include but are not limited to doctors, nurses, health department employees, administrative staff and/or those interested in the field of paramedicine.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to process my application?

In most cases, your membership will become active immediately, giving you access to online content and member event pricing after joining. We do need to undertake some checks at our end, so in some cases we may request further information and documentation from you, to help us confirm your chosen membership category. This can take up to 14 days but doesn’t restrict your member access.

I am both employed and a volunteer

The volunteer membership is only available to people not employed in the field of Paramedicine. If you are both employed and also volunteer your time with another organisation, you would be required to join as an Associate or Member.

Do you provide different payment options?

Students and Volunteers can pay online by credit card. Members on the 'employed' plan can elect to pay by credit card, direct debit or payroll deduction.
