Students are invited to join us for this unique opportunity to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on their paramedicine studies with a panel of leading academics.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant disruption to paramedicine students, creating challenges not previously encountered in paramedicine undergraduate education. This webinar represents an opportunity for paramedicine students to interact with leading academics from several Australian and New Zealand universities so as to have all of your questions answered. This is a unique Q&A opportunity to learn about the impact the COVID-19 pandemic is having on university programs, how the university sector is managing and mitigating these impacts, and how these impacts will affect students as the pandemic enters a recovery phase.
Our panelists are:
Dr Paul Simpson, Director of Paramedicine at Western Sydney University and the Chair of the Australasian Council of Paramedicine Deans
Dr Susan Furness, Discipline Lead and Course Coordinator of Paramedicine at La Trobe University
Professor Brett Williams, Head, Department of Paramedicine, Monash University
Mr Tony Ward, Head of Department Paramedicine, Auckland University of Technology
Please send through any questions you have for the panel to education@paramedics.org
