Taking the Pain out of Reflective Practice

About The Event

Friday 24th July 2020, 15:00 AEST

Paramedic professionalism and registration means that reflective practice is no longer something to be left behind when university ends. It’s integral to prehospital care, it’s vital for patient safety and and it forms a compulsory part of our annual CPD requirements.

So why not make it easy and painless for ourselves?

Bring your coffee along and join Tammie Bullard, paramedic and author of a reflective practice text, to refresh your approach. Find alternative, easier ways to make it an ongoing, stress free part of life.

• What reflective practice is really all about

• Where it fits into AHPRA paramedic registration

• Why we use it and the importance to prehospital care

• Whether it holds any value for the individual practitioner

• Which goals can be set and how to create an achievable plan

• Ways to stay on track and reassess throughout every CPD year

• What the ACP online CPD tracker does and how it can work for you

• Watch some reflection samples around jobs, reading and conferences

It may be necessary, but it doesn’t have to be thought of as a necessary evil. You might be surprised by how simple and beneficial it can become to your everyday practice.
