Live Interactive Symposium 2024 - Day Three

About The Event

The Live Interactive Symposium is back for another year! It will be held over four days (25, 26, 27, and 28 November 2024, times vary) and will provide attendees with eight hours of interactive CPD. Each day will see two subject matter experts present on an array of different clinical topics. There will also be an opportunity for questions with each speaker.

This session will include presentations on:

  • Understanding cardiac emergencies - making sense of the unwell patient presented by Dr Ed Luttrell
  • Critical decision-making in paediatric respiratory emergencies presented by Judy Sheahan

Speakers

Judy Sheahan

Judy is a South African Emergency Care Practitioner (Intensive and Critical Care Paramedic) who has been teaching in Paramedicine for the last 10 years all over the world. She currently works at Edith Cowan University, teaching on the CCP master’s program.


Dr Ed Luttrell

Dr Ed Luttrell is currently a final year Advanced Trainee in Cardiology at the Launceston General Hospital in Tasmania. He was trained at the University of Tasmania and have worked between the Royal Hobart Hospital and Launceston General Hospital over the last 9 years. He is passionate about teaching and healthcare within the Tasmanian community and is moving to Melbourne for an Imaging fellowship at the Alfred Hospital in February to further extend his interest in echocardiography and heart failure.
