Traumatic cardiac arrest - a waste of time or wasted opportunity?

About

Presented by Dr Cliff Reid Presentation Synopsis: When major trauma results in cardiac arrest, the prognosis is poor and many clinicians may be tempted to consider resuscitation futile. However, reversible causes may be present and timely appropriate resuscitation may in some cases result in full recovery. This presentation discusses these causes and treatments, including the limitations of some standard approaches and how advanced medical interventions may overcome them.
