This webinar will provide an overview of common patient medications that out-of-hospital clinicians may come across in their practice. The session covers medication scheduling, and details common medications and high-risk medications for paediatric patients.

  • Understand the implications of low dose drug consumption in children
  • Identify information sources regarding pharmaceuticals

This webinar is specifically targeted towards those working in low acuity and patient transport, but more experienced clinicians may find this a useful refresher.

Presented by: Dan O’Brien

Dan O’Brien is a practicing registered paramedic and a Clinical Education Officer with the Australasian College of Paramedicine. Dan has experience in clinical and management roles in ambulance as well as undertaking a secondment in patient safety with Children’s Health Queensland. Dan has an interest in primary care/community paramedicine as well as ensuring patients receive safe and high quality care.
