Nick Roder is a well-known and highly regarded Intensive Care Flight Paramedic with Air Ambulance Victoria with 27 years of pre hospital experience. Nick has been heavily involved with education both within Ambulance Victoria where he currently works as “ICFP Educator” and at Monash University as Unit coordinator to both undergraduate and post graduate teaching programs. A highly respected, knowledgeable and entertaining presenter, Nick has presented at numerous national and international conferences as an invited guest speaker. This presentation will be case based studies that will explore a range of respiratory conditions including asthma and COPD, contemporary assessment and management modalities, extending into non invasive and invasive ventilation strategies.
