This is a recording from the Interactive CPD Symposium 2025 which hosted many presentations on a large array of topics. This session was hosted by Dan O'Brien and Jeremy Kuiper. They discuss patient presentations through case-based learning. Disussions include pathophysiology, managament, and treatment plans.

Biography: Dan O'Brien

Dan O’Brien is a practicing registered paramedic and a Clinical Education Officer with the Australasian College of Paramedicine. Dan has experience in clinical and management roles in ambulance as well as undertaking a secondment in patient safety with Children’s Health Queensland. Dan has an interest in primary care/community paramedicine as well as ensuring patients receive safe and high-quality care.

Biography: Jeremy Kuiper

Jeremy Kuiper is a registered paramedic and a clinical educator with the Australasian College of Paramedicine. He has worked in both the public and private sectors, including a state ambulance service, as an event paramedic, and for private registered training organisations working in both regional and metropolitan areas of NSW. Jeremy has a particular passion for Surf Lifesaving and is the Director of Education for his local Surf Club.
