Biography: Nick Dutton serves as the Clinical Lead for Cardiac Care at the New South Wales Ambulance Service (NSWAS). With 19 years of experience across Ambulance Victoria and NSW Ambulance, Nick has a passion for improving outcomes from common cardiovascular emergencies such as STEMI and out of hospital cardiac arrest. As both an Intensive Care Paramedic (ICP) and an Extended Care Paramedic (ECP), Nick brings a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to his role. His commitment to excellence and patient care makes him a valuable asset to any educational event, and his insights will undoubtedly enhance the learning experience for all attendees. Nick was also a secondary school teacher in a past life and still loves teaching, though now he focuses on adults rather than teenagers.
Presenter: Christian Stokes
Biography: Christian Stokes has been an Intensive Care Paramedic (ICP) for nearly 20 years, bringing extensive experience and expertise to his role. Throughout his career, Christian has demonstrated a deep commitment to patient care, consistently delivering high-quality emergency medical services. In addition to his role as an ICP, Christian now serves as a Clinical Training Officer (Educator) for NSW Ambulance, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of paramedics. His passion for education and mentoring is evident in his dedication to supporting his colleagues in their professional development. Christian’s dual roles allow him to contribute both on the front lines and in the classroom, ensuring that the highest standards of care are upheld across the service.
Presenter: Adam Parker
Biography: Adam Parker is an experienced healthcare professional, having started his career in nursing and progressed into paramedicine. He later became an intensive care paramedic and now works as a duty operations manager for NSW Ambulance. Adam also works as a sessional academic lecturer, demonstrating his commitment to the next generation of paramedics and is an advocate for access to quality healthcare in the regions.
