Family violence – recognise, respond, refer

About

Family violence is a global silent and hidden epidemic. The term Shadow Pandemic has been coined in response to family violence worsening in the Covid climate. Globally 137 women die daily as a result of family violence, making the home the most dangerous place for women. This informative session will support paramedics to develop a family violence lens to recognise family violence, and to respond safely and effectively to improve outcomes for those at risk.
