Compassion

About

Emma Bywater presents on Compassion: “People won’t remember what you said or did, but how you made them feel.”

Pre-hospital medicine is rapidly expanding - but at the center of all our clinical research, improved technology and medical advances, remain our patients. There is an understanding that compassion is a key component in providing high quality patient centered care. However, with compassion fatigue increasingly recognized as a real threat to our healthcare workforce, how can we maintain human connection and compassionate care, without compromising our own wellbeing?

Presented by Emma Bywater
