An introduction to Gender and Disaster Australia (GADAus)

About

Gender and Disaster Australia (GADAus) is the leading national organisation offering evidence-based education, training and resources to address the harmful impacts of gendered expectations in disaster.

This webinar explores the evidence and research surrounding gendered violence, the impacts of gender stereotypes during and after disasters, and resources available/action items for emergency planning through a gendered lens.

Join us as Rachael Mackay and Steve O'Malley from GADAus walk us through opportunities to reflect and examine how we can apply a gendered lens to policy, practices and programs.
