There is speculation that low back pain may be suitable however studies in Emergency Departments suggest this patient group may include potentially serious pathologies. This presentation will discuss the findings from a study of patients calling a UK ambulance service complaining of back pain over a 12 month period. To our knowledge it is the first study looking specifically at this patient group in the ambulance setting.
