ACPIC 2022 delivered a wide range of clinical and research sessions from experts and leaders in paramedicine. Hosted in Brisbane (September 2022) the program was designed to inspire, educate and broaden horizons.

STEMIs – The Patient Journey

This session is a deep dive into the overall journey and outcomes of a STEMI patient. We will be covering this topic through a few different case studies and discuss the consequences of their journey from symptom onset to the overall hospital admission and several years down the track. Highlighting the important aspects that can affect patient long term outcomes and mortality.

Biography: Kenny Ng

Kenny Ng is a lecturer for the Cardiac Ultrasound program at Western Sydney University and a Cardiac Physiologist at Royal North Shore Hospital. He has been heavily involved in echocardiography education and training leading him to develop and run a hands-on echo training program in Sydney. Apart from cardiac ultrasound, he is also assists in the education of staff in the other areas of cardiac physiology such as Cardiac Catheterisation Lab, Electrophysiology and Electrocardiography He has also been an invited speaker at multiple national education meetings and webinars.
