    Price: $149.00
Effective scene leadership in contemporary Australasian paramedicine is not a formal title or a function of rank, but a multifaceted, informally enacted competency that must be cultivated in every practitioner. It is a dynamic and adaptive process, rather than a static position of authority. In this module, we aim to unpack the elements of effective scene leadership, proposing a holistic, competency-based framework for leadership that aligns with the modern reality of being a leader in paramedicine. 100% online and self-paced. Note: Core modules must be completed before any electives.
  • πŸ§‘β€πŸ« Preceptor Program | Enhancing wellbeing and resilience for paramedic leaders (elective)

    Price: $149.00
In a profession dedicated to providing care and supporting those in crisis, paramedic preceptors often find themselves facing unique challenges that can lead to high levels of burnout. As mentors and leaders, preceptors not only guide the next generation of paramedics but also carry the emotional weight of their responsibilities. This course is designed to equip preceptors with the tools and strategies necessary to look after themselves and others. By prioritising personal wellbeing and resilience, we can foster a healthier, more sustainable work environment, ensuring that our preceptors are supported as they continue their vital role in the community. 100% online and self-paced. Note: Core modules must be completed before any electives.
  • πŸ§‘β€πŸ« Preceptor Program | Effectively communicate with children (elective)

Children need to feel safe in order to have a positive experience with healthcare, and how we communicate with children needs to be different to how we communicate with adults. The way we communicate with children can also impact the parents' and caregivers' perception of the quality of care received. Let's look at how to effectively communicate with children. 100% online and self-paced. Notes: (1) Core modules must be completed before any electives. (2) This module is also offered in the paediatrics section of the College's eLearning library.
