The Australasian College of Paramedicine (ACP) is seeking expressions of interest from current undergraduate student paramedics who may be interested in applying for the Events & Education Coordinator Role within the Student Committee.
The Events and Education Coordinator (EEC) is responsible for coordinating student events and education related activities ensuring they align with The College's vision, purpose and strategic goals. This role will work closely with the College Events Coordinator and members of the student committee: chair, co-chair, regional coordinator, marketing/social media coordinator and communication/research coordinator.

One of the key responsibilities is to assist coordinating the national and state-based student conferences held in July 2021. This is our flagship event and is an opportunity for paramedicine students from all over Australasia to listen to industry leading speakers and network with other students, paramedics and academics.
As EEC , your main duties for the conference include: sourcing speakers; event management including but not limited to: sourcing and liaising with a venue holder and catering company; organising the research poster competition; planning and management of conference day activities including delegating student committee & working group members to tasks; assisting with the chairing of the conference; developing advertising and marketing strategies liaising with the marketing and social media coordinator; and liaising with stakeholders for the facilitation of the simulation competition.
Committee members must be a member of the College and this is a voluntary position.
