The Australasian College of Paramedicine (the College) is pleased to announce it has begun a collaboration project with Standards Australia to deliver standards mapping and a gap analysis report, marking a major step forward in our work to develop standards for paramedicine.
The partnership with Standards Australia will provide technical expertise and national credibility, helping to ensure that the standards developed are aligned with broader regulatory and health and safety needs.
Standards mapping will provide a clear overview of existing standards, while the gap analysis will identify areas requiring further development to support safe, consistent, and high-quality care.
As paramedicine continues to evolve, this partnership represents a forward-looking step in shaping the profession’s future. It builds on the College’s commitment to strengthening paramedicine through evidence-based standards and practical tools that support safe, high-quality care.
