Motorcycle trauma case studies

About The Event

Join us in-person or online for this CPD event where you will hear two motorcycle trauma case studies, presented by Rupert Freeman, MICA Flight Paramedic Air Ambulance Victoria and Michaela Malcolm, MICA Flight Paramedic Air Ambulance Victoria.

This presentation will detail two extremely challenging cases that required both paramedics to think outside the box.

  • Performing procedures in awkward and unfamiliar environments
  • Transporting patients in positions outside the routine
  • Logistical considerations for long jobs
  • Importance of consultation for procedures and advice
  • Working under pressure in high acuity cases
