Juggling people, tasks and strategy: the middle manager balancing act

About The Event

As part of the College's corporate membership to the Institute of Managers and Leaders ANZ, we are pleased to offer members free access live leadership webinars delivered by IML.

Juggling people, tasks and strategy: the middle manager balancing act

The move into a leadership role is an exciting time, and for many, success is dependent on navigating what is known as “the transition trap”. In a leadership role, priorities and expectations shift and team dynamics change.

So how do you effectively balance the shift from task or technical focus to people and strategy focus?

Join us in this interactive webinar as we explore this concept using practical models and frameworks. We will learn together as we develop strategies to navigate the “transition trap” and effectively manage ourselves and our time, to achieve these new expectations.

In this session, we will:

  • Explore the roles and responsibilities of a new leader
  • Develop strategies to navigate the transition into leadership
  • Understand the importance of managing yourself and your time
  • Develop strategies to effectively manage your time to focus on the highest priorities.
