From bite to bedside: Snake envenomation in Western Australia

About The Event

Join us for a scaly, slithery evening of learning!

Snake envenomation remains a high-risk emergency across Western Australia. This in-person-only event explores snakes of significance in WA, the clinical effects of venom, and evidence-based paramedic assessment and management approaches, as well as a chance to get hands-on and practice your pressure immobilisation technique with expert guidance. Presented by Matt Campbell, paramedic and experienced snake handler with a special interest in snake envenomation.

Tickets are limited so book now to secure your place! This event will be free for members and non-members.

Please note: Live (non-venomous) snakes may be present during this session for educational demonstration purposes to illustrate snake behaviour in a safe, controlled environment.
