Free Mental Health First Aid training for Western Australian paramedics

About The Event

WA Paramedics: Strengthen your Mental Health First Aid Skills

The demanding nature of paramedic work, the stigma surrounding help-seeking, and paramedics' critical role in early mental health crisis response, make Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training essential.

Face-to-face courses are now available in WA for February 2026. Join us for this opportunity to grow and make a lasting impact on paramedic practice.

What's involved in the course?

  • The Blended MHFA for Students is tailored specifically for students and includes 5-7 hours of self-paced online learning, followed by a 4 hour face-to-face workshop with an accredited MHFA Instructor.
  • The Face-to-Face MHFA Workplace is tailored specifically to the workplace and is completed over two days with an accredited MHFA Instructor.
