Flinders University Paramedicine and Prehospital Care Research Forum

About The Event

You are invited to the Flinders University Paramedicine and Prehospital Care Research Forum!

Organised by Flinders University and supported by the College, this bi-monthly event will dive into current research in the paramedical space with some of its leading minds.

The event is being held in-person at Flinders University Health & Medical Sciences Research Building Room 337 and online via Microsoft Teams.

This months theme will be "Updates in Paramedicine research".

Speakers include:

  • Dr. Kristina Lambrakis and SAAS representatives about the Rapidx Prehospital trial (Re-engineering the clinical approach to suspected cardiac chest pain assessment using high-sensitivity point of care troponin).

  • Michelle Thomson presenting her masters degree systematic review study on clinical practice guidelines in prehospital pain management for paramedics.

  • A/Prof. Andrew Makkink, Discipline Lead, Paramedicine at Flinders University, discussing his global research background and opportunities for research collaboration.
