Safe Airway Society is proud to present a truly interdisciplinary approach to airway workshops. Each workshop will provide skills sessions tailored for airway operators and airway assistants, with the opportunity to come together at the end of each station to practice their combined roles in a non-stressful, judgement-free, low fidelity environment.

The Safe Airway Society (SAS) is the interprofessional airway society for Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand. Members represent a wide range of health professions including Anaesthetists, Intensivists, Anaesthetic technicians, Emergency Physicians, Nurses, Rural Doctors, Surgeons and Paramedics. SAS aims to overcome geographical challenges by reaching out to clinicians in all corners of Australia and New Zealand, to bring together the skills and expertise of the various professions. Through innovative collaboration, SAS aima to create resources including consensus guidelines, promote education and training with an emphasis on human factors and team performance, and improve systems through research and standardisation of practice. SAS aims to build an environment where safe and effective airway management prevails across all professions and for all patients.
