The Australian Resuscitation Council WA Branch is pleased to present a one-day seminar on ‘Strengthening the Chain of Survival’. We are delighted to have a number of speakers who have agreed to share their expertise in resuscitation science and clinical practice.

The morning sessions will focus on out-of-hospital cardiac arrest and will be hosted by St John WA. The afternoon sessions will focus on in-hospital management of cardiac arrest.

Keynote Speaker – Dr Ziad Nehme

Ziad is a Paramedic and a Heart Foundation Future Leader Fellow with expertise in prehospital emergency care and resuscitation research. Ziad is the Director of the Centre for Research and Evaluation, Ambulance Victoria, Australia. Ziad holds appointments as an executive member of the Australasian Resuscitation Outcomes Consortium (Aus-ROC) and Task Form Member for ILCOR.
