Paramedics & palliative care

About The Event

Join us online for an insightful webinar addressing palliative care in the prehospital setting. Our topic expert, Dr Joanne Patel, will share her experience and knowledge around questions such as:

  • What does 'palliated' mean? What is palliative care?
  • Why does a palliative care patient call 000?
  • How do we establish goals of care?
  • How do we look after the dying person at home, and when can we not?

Ask your questions of our palliative care expert and receive informed, meaningful answers. Take this opportunity to enhance your capacity as a paramedic in caring for the terminally ill.
